We are seeking to appoint a Team Lead to head the Statistics and Programming team, currently comprising 4 statisticians, 4 programmers, a research scientist and a data analyst.

This is an exciting and rewarding post at the head of a highly-respected and talented team across all ages and experience, offering a mix of personnel management, project control, budgetary oversight and with a significant requirement for mentoring, advising and supporting members of the team and contributing to their thinking and work planning. There will be considerable interaction with sponsors, external partners and collaborators, including representation on steering committees, data monitoring committees and study management committees. The successful candidate will join the company’s senior team representing the directorate, business support, trial management and equivalent team leads in data management and quality assurance.

A vacancy for a Senior Biostatistician is available within the Biostatistics team.  The work will comprise all statistical aspects of the design, delivery and reporting of international clinical trials, and also the opportunity to collaborate on trial-related research projects and publications. Responsibilities include the development of statistical analysis plans, analysis of data, preparation of reports, membership of trial governance committees and, assistance in the preparation of trial-related publications. The senior statistician will also work closely with statistical colleagues and with the programmers who design, develop and test statistical programs.

This position also presents the opportunity to work with our colleagues and collaborators across the world. We have strong links with our parent organisation, Frontier Science Foundation, Inc (FSF) in the US. There are three offices in the USA in Boston, MA, Buffalo, NY and Madison, WI, an office in Athens, Greece, and a new one in Oslo, Norway. We have a long and continuing association with the Breast International Group in Brussels, Belgium.

A vacancy for a Programmer is available within our Statistics and Programming team to work on both on-going and new projects. Candidates should have experience with relational databases and SQL. Knowledge of SAS, OpenClinica, Pentaho or similar technologies is desirable but not essential. Candidates should have good problem solving skills using a logical approach, be highly motivated with a willingness to learn/research new technologies and self-manage workload. Ability to write technical specification documentation and work to required industry standards is important. The position will give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop skills in a stable working environment.
